Santa Clara Chorale presents the world premier of Henry Dehlinger’s Kohelet and the Bernstein Chichester Psalms

In our annual collaboration with the Santa Clara University Choirs, the Chorale welcomes back Thomas Colohan, artistic director of the Washington Master Chorale, to conduct the World Premiere of a co-commissioned new work by SCU Alum Henry Dehlinger. Setting Hebrew text from Ecclesiastes, Dehlinger drew his inspiration for Kohelet from the Bernstein Chichester Psalms, presented on this program under the baton of artistic director Scot Hanna-Weir. Scored for brass, harp, organ, and percussion, these two magnificent settings of Hebrew texts will make for an exceptional concert that you won’t want to miss.
