La traviata with Bel Cantanti Opera

A slightly different take on Verdi’s timeless classic; this production focuses on the drama of the three principal characters: Violetta, Alfredo, and Germont. Verdi’s sweeping score is combined with narration from the Alexandre Dumas fils novel. The author knew and was in love with Marie Duplessis, a courtesan; her story was immortalized by Verdi in La traviata and Dumas’ novel “La Dame aux Camélias”. Danielle Talamantes as Violetta, Han Jeong Wook as Alfredo and Kerry Wilkerson as Germont.
