Husband and wife duo, Kerry Wilkerson and Danielle Talamantes light up the stage individually but together their performances bring both their passion for music and each other to an exhilarating level.
Danielle & Kerry are proud artists of the 2026-2028 Texas Commission On The Arts Touring Roster! Eligible organizations may receive grants from the Texas Touring Roster for up to 50% of the artistic fees when booking Danielle and Kerry.
This prestigious recognition places Danielle & Kerry among some of the best artistic talent in Texas, ready to bring their vibrant performances to communities across the state. The Texas Touring Roster aims to ensure all Texans enjoy high-quality artistic events; schools, libraries, theaters, and other nonprofits can benefit with the support of TCA grants.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The Texas Commission on the Arts is pleased to announce that about 150 Texas artists and arts companies have been approved to the Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) Texas Touring Roster for 2026-2028.
“Artists on the Texas Touring Roster travel to communities across the state and perform in a variety of venues,” said TCA executive director Gary Gibbs. “In addition to performances, they may also conduct workshops, master classes, residencies, lecture-demonstrations or arts education components as a way to engage community residents. We are proud to offer the citizens of Texas access to such high-quality artistic talent.”
Artists on the roster must have a history of touring and maintain a reasonable fee range. The Texas Commission on the Arts does not provide direct funds to the artists on the Texas Touring Roster. Instead, TCA provides grants to arts presenters, schools, libraries, theaters, and other nonprofits and government units throughout Texas to help with the cost of bringing in companies and artists from the roster.
Presenters may apply through TCA’s Arts Respond Performance Support grant category for a portion of the artistic fees for artists from the Texas Touring Roster. The Performance Support application is updated and receiving submissions for activities happening between September 1, 2026 and August 31, 2027. The August 1 quarterly deadline covers activities starting between September 1, 2026 and December 14, 2026.
Acceptance onto the Texas Touring Roster is for two years, and benefits groups and artists by giving them a powerful marketing tool. Access to grant funds, combined with the fact that Texas Touring Roster artists have been deemed the best in their field by a panel of statewide experts, makes these artists appealing to all lovers of the arts!
In addition to performances with orchestras and choruses, Danielle & Kerry are currently touring with the following recital programs:
Threads of Light: American Songs of Faith, Hope & Love
A vibrant journey through American song featuring Copland’s Old American Songs, favorites by Rodgers & Hammerstein, Willson, and Bernstein, contemporary works by Henry Dehlinger, and jazz standards by Duke Ellington in expressive classical-crossover arrangements. Uplifting, accessible, and stylistically diverse, this program is ideal for general audiences, community concerts, university series, and presenters seeking an engaging, audience-friendly experience rooted in American musical heritage.
Liederabend: Songs of Evening, Twilight & Night
A beautifully curated progression from dusk to deep night through masterworks by Felix Mendelssohn, Fanny Mendelssohn, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Wagner, and Humperdinck. Our most recent offering has been warmly received by audiences in Virginia and Texas, blending poetry, atmosphere, and expressive nuance. Ideal for both art-song lovers and newcomers, it offers audiences an immersive, contemplative experience shaped by rich Romantic storytelling.
The Greek Loves Through Song
A dramatic exploration of the eight Greek concepts of love—agape, pragma, philia, eros, ludus, storge, philautia, and mania—expressed through opera, art song, and musical theatre. Featuring works by Massenet, Mozart, Turina, Dehlinger, and Rodgers & Hammerstein, the program is emotionally compelling, thematically cohesive, and designed for broad appeal. We include a unique narrative arc that resonates with audiences through humor, tenderness, intensity, and joy.
Dehlinger: Voices & Chamber Visions
A flexible chamber program showcasing Henry Dehlinger’s vivid writing for voice and instruments. Designed to collaborate with local musicians, it fosters community engagement while presenting works known for cinematic color, rhythmic energy, and expressive depth. Perfect for chamber series, university residencies, or organizations seeking distinctive contemporary music with adaptable instrumentation and strong educational outreach potential.
Henry Dehlinger: Songs & Voices
An intimate recital of Henry Dehlinger’s celebrated vocal works, often performed with the composer at the piano. Featuring settings of Poe, Joyce, Wilde, and Dante, the program blends lyrical richness, jazz-tinged harmony, and dramatic storytelling. Accompanied by the composer, Henry’s onstage presence adds immediacy, insight, and audience connection, making this ideal for recital series, festivals, and universities seeking dynamic contemporary American repertoire with optional masterclasses or composer talks.
Danielle & Kerry are also happy to customize programs if a presenter has a particular thematic idea or repertoire request.
